This session will focus on the practical application of family engagement research in schools. Participants will learn methods for improving communication specifically around children's reading assessment data. Strategies that families can use to support their children’s literacy development will also be introduced. The focus will be on planning family workshops where caregivers can learn these strategies and practice them with their children.
