This artful presentation will allow participants to explore how students’ literacy experiences can be enhanced by strategically integrating the arts. Presenters will share how standards-based, arts-integrated, literacy units of study are successfully implemented in elementary classrooms (K-5) across the Bluegrass state as they share classroom artifacts, model lesson strategies, and engage participants in artful experiences that can be used in their own literacy instruction.
